Yesterday, it reached more than 50,000 views on YouTube in only two days and the world is following the girl’s search for the lost father of her son.
But now, it is clear that the video is not genuine, but rather a viral ad. Karen’s real name is Ditte Arnth. She is an actress, has no kids and lives in central Copenhagen. Since the video reached so many viewers in such a short span of life, it indicates that it was a campaign that may have been seeded by professionals. The question however remain why – and who is behind the video? Many speculations still float and bloggers, journalists and twitters are still trying to find out the purpose of the video. I’m also wondering – what is August’s real identity?
